Australia is known for its Iconic landscapes, Unique wildlife and its focus on climate and awareness to environment. Its a great nation will history of migrations especially from European and Chines in early 20th Century. But of late Australia has developed the reputation of being one of the top International Education Destinations among English speaking countries, after US and UK. For the last couple of years there has been a debate of rising cost of living and accommodation, especially from the citizens of Australia and the Govt and many in Australia put the blame on International students and temp migrants to drive these high cost of living and housing issues. But after the careful study done in this, especially in housing crisis, it was ruled out that International students are the cause of the problem but both Labour and Coalition kept on this rhetoric and try to polarise the election on these issue.
Coalition, headed by Mr Peter Dutton has a strong view towards right wing and promised to decrease the international students numbers if voted to majority in these elections. But as per the polls number suggest, he is unlikely to come in power and siting Govt of Labour party is expected to take the second term. And this would be much better for International education a most of the stake holders are hoping that Anthony Albanese shall continue as PM of Australia. Things will be much clearer in coming next week and shall have lasting impact on Education Industry for both, University staff and prospective International students.
