What’s IELTS?

The full form is INTERNATIONAL ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY TEST SYSTEM. This test of IELTS is required in more than 140 countries including countries like Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and New Zealand.

The exam is required to be taken to prove one’s proficiency in the language.

To study, work or settle down in any English-speaking country, it is essential to prove that you can survive there, and to know the language is one of the foremost requirements amongst other things.

IELTS is of two types: General IELTS Exam & Academic IELTS Exam

What score is required for IELTS?

There is no pass and fail in IELTS, the higher you score, the more are your chances of getting into your dream university and scoring your dream job. Each institution has its own requirement for the IELTS bands.

One needs to choose the country and institution first to set a goal and then start with the preparation.
